is an additional music lesson on power chords... Power
chords are used in Rock Music, but some say they are 'cheat chords' or artificial
chords. Either
way, when you mix it with an effect of distortion, they sound absolutely brilliant!
Here
are 3 rock power chords for you to use in your own music. We've included audio
samples of how each should.

| The
second type is called the 5th string root power chord (played on the 5th string).
It is made up of fingers as shown. |

| The
third type is called the 5th String Root Variation, as it is a variation of the
5th power chord previously. This time, instead of using 2 fingers, we are now
using 3. |
